Helen CoulsonHelen is an experienced and innovative senior executive, passionate about client service, quick to assimilate client goals, culture and business objectives. She excels in creating and implementing strategic solutions to drive profitable business relationships. Helen has an MBA in General Management from City University Business School and a BA (Hons) Psychology from London University.

Helen has been responsible for the delivery of strategic business development programmes in B2B and consumer sectors working with American Express, Cofunds, IFDS and major banks in the UK, Europe and Middle Eastern markets.  She has a strong track record of launching successful financial services propositions and new products.  Helen has been responsible for creating new business models, entering new markets and diversification programmes by identifying market change opportunities and building on organisational competencies.

Helen has a deep interest in financial capability and demystifying financial products. Helen has been involved in the UK pension reform and Personal Accounts agenda since the early days of the Pensions Bill.  She has a strong belief in the power of listening and acting upon stakeholder views to deliver positive outcomes.

Frank Fletcher

Frank FletcherFrank Fletcher established Widewater Consulting in September 2006 to offer research, analysis and strategic consulting services focused on the distribution issues facing financial services providers and distributors.  He is a member of the board of the Investment and Life Assurance Group (ILAG) and was chairman in the year to June 2007.

Frank has over 35 years experience of the financial services industry and has worked in a range of roles that encompass market analysis, consumer research, strategic consultancy, investment management, stock broking, pensions management, savings and protection business.

Frank is an experienced consultant and project manager with a deep understanding of the economics and dynamics of financial services distribution, marketing across savings, investments, and protection markets.  He is a skilled executive interviewer and qualitative research professional.  He has an informed appreciation of the roles of both technology and professional advisers in the distribution of life, pensions and other financial services products.

Frank is a former European research director of the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, spent almost 8 years as a consultant in the Strategy Group in the Watson Wyatt Insurance and Financial Services practice.  In his earlier life he was Managing Director of Mintel Publications and worked with both NOP (now gfk) and Taylor Nelson in research-based roles.
